Adam trained at St Bartholomews Medical School and Bath. During his training in Bath he began to develop a keen interest in Sports Medicine and was involved with Bath Rugby Club. Fortunately he was able to continue his interest in Sports Medicine after moving to the Island by working in the Jersey Hospital Sports Injuries Clinic (for the last 15 years) and developing his own private practice in Sports Medicine.
Adam holds several roles as Team Doctor to Jersey sporting clubs.
He is the Honorary Doctor to The Jersey Commonwealth and Jersey Island Games sports teams.
He has been the Team Doctor to the Jersey Island Games team visiting Shetland, Guernsey, Aland, Isle of Man, Rhodes and The Isle of Wight.
He attended the Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games as Team Doctor and is looking forward to attending the Paralympics this summer in London giving Sports Medicine cover.
He is the current Jersey Rugby Club 1st XV and Club Doctor.
Other roles include Honorary Doctor to the Jersey Surf club and Jersey Triathlon club.
Adam has a lifelong passion for sport and exercise.
